Story behind KenkuTravel

I’m an aeronautical engineering graduate from Estonia who somehow keeps finding cheap fares to different corners of the world. I’m especially drawn to unusual places that many travellers skip, and my current goal is to visit 100 countries before I turn 30 — while still keeping the trips meaningful, realistic and within budget.

KenkuTravel started as a place to write about how I actually travel while working a regular job: the planning, the trade-offs, the costs, the awkward routes, and the small decisions behind each trip. It is not just about country counting, but about making interesting trips happen without pretending they are always effortless.
